Adeniyi’s 2-Year Anniversary: ANLCA Tin Can Chair, Prince Wale Cole Lauds Customs CG
The Tin Can Island Chapter Chairman of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) Prince Olawale Cole has joined multitude of stakeholders who have congratulated the Comptroller-General of Customs, Adewale Adeniyi on his second year anniversary in office.

Prince Cole on behalf of the Western Zonal Coordinator of ANLCA, Alhaji Femi Anifowose, commended Adeniyi for his dedication to enhancing trade facilitation, improving revenue generation, and fostering a more cordial relationship between customs and stakeholders.
The ANLCA top gun in his goodwill message to the Customs CG said “On behalf of Alhaji Femi Anifowose, the Western Zone Coordinator of Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), I, Prince Olawale Cole, and the entire executive and members of the Tin Can Island Chapter of ANLCA, extend our heartfelt congratulations to you, Comptroller-General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi MFR, on the auspicious occasion of your second anniversary in office.

Recall that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday 19 June 2023 appointed Adewale Bashir Adeniyi as the new Acting Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service while his appointment was later confirmed in October 2023.
Adeniyi’s performance as the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service has been marked by a focus on modernization, revenue generation, and human capital development.
