ANLCA Apapa Chairman, Emeka Chukwumalu to Tackle ETO Call-Up Challenges, Build Importers Confidence

The newly elected Apapa chapter Chairman of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) , Emeka Chukwumalu has promised members of the association of a new dawn, even as he vows to tackle challenges surrounding the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) Eto Call-up System which regulates the movement of trucks at the port.

Chukwumalu gave these assurances at an official handing over ceremony which held at the association’s secretariat in Apapa on Monday.

He also promised to work together with his executives to make ANLCA the envy of all stakeholders, even as he assured that the now executives shall work in collaboration with all agencies, including the Nigeria Customs Service.

According to him, the association shall work assiduously to ensure that all the importers who have left the Apapa Command due to challenges in cargo delivery are brought back.

“Concerning areas where we are having challenges on Eto call up system and the rest, we are going to make sure we put them in the proper perspective.

“We would work effectively to ensure that all our members are well taken care of.
We shall also work with the Customs in order to ensure that all the importers return back to Apapa Command and achieve the federal government target”

With Chukwumalu taking over office as dully elected Chairman, the reign of Dr. Basil Nduagu as the Coordinator of ANLCA Apapa chapter comes to an end.

Our correspondent reports that the handing-over ceremony was seamless, cordial and colourful.

In a goodwill message, the out gone Coordinator thanked the apapa family for the cooperation and love extended to him during his short but eventful
reign, even as he enjoined all members to accord same cooperation and love to his successor.
