CCC Commends ANLCA for Restoration of Peace, Stability with Recent Elections

The Customs Consultative Committee (CCC) headed by Aare Hakeem Olanrewaju has commended the leadership of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) for restoring Peace and stability in the association, especially with recent election into its various chapters.

In the commendation letter signed personally by Aare Olanrewaju, the CCC lauded ANLCA headed by Emenike Nwokeoji on the successful implementation of the Mutual Professional Peace Accord brokered by the CCC in July 2023, describing it as a testament his leadership’s commitment to unity and progress.

“The conduct of national executive elections, the inauguration of new national officers, the election of a new Board of Trustees, and the recent inauguration of chapter executives all demonstrate a clear dedication to democratic principles and the well-being of ANLCA members” he said

Moving forward the CCC Chairman advised ANLCA to sustain the momentum by continuing to prioritize unity, transparency, and accountability within the Association.
He also urged the association to offer strategic leadership by focusing on addressing the industry concerns highlighted during the Mutual Professional Peace Accord meeting, such as logistics competence, digitalization, and professional capacity building.

Other advise offered are “Internal Conflict Resolution: Ensure that the internal redress mechanism is functional and effective in resolving disputes among members, avoiding unnecessary litigation.

“Collaboration and Partnerships: Foster stronger relationships with relevant stakeholders, including the Nigeria Customs Service, the CRFFN, and other industry players.

“By embracing these principles, ANLCA can solidify its position as a leading professional organization in the maritime industry, promoting the interests of its members and contributing to the growth and development of the Nigerian economy”
