Ex-ANLCA Scribe, Mukaila Accepts Sole Administrator Appointment from BOT

The immediate past National Secretary of Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) Alhaji Babatunde Mukaila has accepted his appointment as Sole Administrator of the association after the expiration of tenure and handover by the Tony Iju led executives.
The Board of Trustees (BOT) of ANLCA had in a letter to Alhaji Mukaila on 4th August 2023 signed by the Chairman, Alhaji Taiwo Mustapha said the appointment was in line with section 8 subsection 2B of supreme constitution the association.
Mustapha said “May I inform you that the Board of Trustees has appointed you as Administrator of our great Association.
Terms of reference:
(a) To manage and administer the National Secretariat of ANLCA
(b) To relate with ASECO in organising the upcoming NECOM election and update the BOT, by reporting to the BOT Chairman and BOT Vice Chairman.
(c) As a former ASECO chairman, and immediate past National Secretary, the Board hereby authorise you to allow further membership registration at the national secretariat to assist ASECO on voters verification process”
In his acceptance letter, the former ANLCA National Secretary commended the BOT for counting him worthy of the assignment, even as he promised to work with the Associations Electoral Committee (ASECO) to deliver the forthcoming NECOM election.
Mukaila said “The Association is at crossroad, yet again and in an unending battle, the only weapon required to resolved our issues is COURAGE AND GENUINE SACRIFICES.
“Sincerely, this much, Alhaji Taiwo Mustapha,Chairman ANLCA Board of trustee(BOT) and the entire Board members has demonstrated by recent RE-pronouncements of my person as the sole Administrators of ANLCA
“I am particularly pleased with the term of reference (TOR) which squarely bothered on delivery of Necom election without further delays in line with constitutional provisions without fear or favour.
“Credible NECOMS election, surely will be a lasting legacy i am ready to sacrifice for in sha Allah, not out being found wanting.
“Succesful NECOM election will enable the Association commence her journey of full rebirth,genuine reconciliations and reactivates her for greater good,towards the actualization of the aims and objectives of Association of Nigeria Licensed custom agent (ANLCA).
“ASECO Committe has expended Six months(180days) from the commencement of campaigns activities in line with section 22,Ss.1b without any signs of her readiness to deliver on this election.
“I therefore accept the challenge to work with ASECO on a very special interventions expediency to deliver the election with utmost transparency and fairness without fear or favours in line with ANLCA Constitution.
I am so honour to accept the Sole administratorship”
“In the coming days,i shall hit the ground running and make ANLCA Constitution provisions speaks to all members by working diligently with ASECO Committe to deliver credible elections envisage by Abuja Declaration Accord supretended by Customs Consultatives Council(CCC).
“Keeping ANLCA ONE is a task that must be done.
“Thanking the Board of trustee for finding me worthy at this critical moment of need and desires rescue mission ,much neccessary to the overall wellbeing of the biggest and foremost freight Association in Africa, my dear ANLCA” he said
