APFFLON Meets Police AIG Maritime, Laments Incessant Alerts on Cleared Cargoes
…Says Freight Forwarders Children Deprived Employment in Police Force
The Africa Association of Professional Freight Forwarders and Logistics of Nigeria (APFFLON) has formed a synergy with the Nigeria Police, Maritime Division, towards ending multiple alerts on cleared cargo in the ports.
This was the outcome of the meeting between APFFLON President Otunba Frank Ogunojemite and the Head of the Division AIG Y. A. Ayoku in Lagos today.
Ogunojemite also used the opportunity of the visit to discuss the deprivation of Freight Forwarders Children in Gaining Employment with Nigerian Police Force.
According to Otunba Frank Ogunojemite, “at our meeting with the Police authority today, we discussed about incessant alerts on cleared cargoes and how the Police officers handle the matter which has caused disaffection between clients (importers) and freight forwarders
Ogunojemite said the AIG Maritime Division Ayoku however promised to look into the matter.
