FG Shuts Down Liverpool, Tin Can Port Road in Apapa

The federal government through the Presidential Task Team has said that the Liverpool Bridge inward bound from Tincan to Apapa will be closed for traffic movement from Tin Can to Apapa today. 


The closure according to a traffic advisory issued by Messrs Hitech Construction Company, the contractor in charge of the construction is to ensure that bricks and other construction materials are moved to site where the road construction was ongoing.


The company advised that trucks moving to Apapa should use the down ramp to Liverpool Roundabout and the out ramp towards Apapa gate.


“Trucks inward bound to Tin Can from Apapa must keep left on the bridge and the right hand carriage way on the Liverpool Bridge that leads towards Tincan must be kept vacant to facilitate the delivery of concrete to the paving section at the lower part of Liverpool bridge on the side of Apapa port”


“Light vehicles are advised to stay clear of liverpool over bridge and advised to use liverpool roundabout and the upward ramp on the left hand side of Tin Can outbound to Apapa”


“This was discussed and confirmed with Vice Chairman of the Presidential Taskforce that this exercise will only be for tomorrow 20th November, 2019”
